Styling a long knit cardigan duster for winer in Southern California is a challenge. As much as I would love to wear my knit cardigan with leggings, boots and a scarf, it is just too damn hot.
It has been like 70 degrees the past few days in San Diego! Compared to what I would usually be wearing if I was still living in Seattle, I still haven’t been able to get used to the whole shorts and tank top thing in Fall or Winter. It isn’t quite the holidays if I can’t find some way to snuggle in oversized knit sweaters and comfy pants.
Styling a knit cardigan duster with denim shorts
This is how us Southern California, San Diego girls do winter wear. Don’t let the internet fool you. Those girls in plaids layered under sweaters, under peacoats with a beanie and a scarf on…may be a bit misleading. This cardigan is fun because the hem is cut to be long in the front and back but it is shorter on the sides.
