I am so ready for summer. A little too ready in fact. I just added yet another kimono to my wardrobe. This one I scored at a consignment store and it doesn’t have a tag on it so I can’t even tell you who made it or where you can buy it. The thing that drew me to this kimono was first of all, the sleeves. The sleeves just barely cover my elbow so it covers my arms (I admit I am still self conscious about them). Second, The fabric feels more like a resort wear type coverup than a kimono. Actually, it may be a beach cover up for all I know. This is the perfect coverup to wear to the beach or hippie-esque addition to your music festival outfit.
But the colors are vibrant and the pattern is just too zesty to only pull out when I’m near a body of water.
Music festival in platforms & a kimono
I am just obsessed with this type of style of look right now. You know.. platform booties, short shorts, crop tops and a kimono. Pretty much everything I despised last year I am in love with now. Just goes to show you how much a person’s opinion can change in a matter of time.
