A not-so Red, White and Blue 4th of July; OOTD

My 4th of July outfit had a bunch of comments regarding where I got the dress. So I figured why not style it for an official outfit of the day post on my blog and share this WONDERFUL piece of clothing with all of you. I almost didn’t try on this dress because I was afraid the arm area was going to be too tight and the chest too restricted, but I took a chance anyway.

If you are like me, trying on something that you aren’t too sure of can be a considered “taking a chance” because it could ruin your whole mental state for the rest of your shopping trip.

This isn’t one of my typical American Independence day outfits, like you have seen on the blog in the past. This one is way more ME. I was tempted to wear my black strappy heels with it but figured the gold loafers were much less predictable and way more comfortable.

This dress was something unexpected. Because it is A-line with no lining inside it can probably fit up to a size 18! The only questionable part is how short it can get in the back. DO NOT BEND OVER UNLESS YOU ARE WEARING YOUR PRETTY PANTIES. A 13 year-old girl at a birthday party even asked me “is this a shirt or a dress?” In which i told her “as long as it is cute does it really matter?”
