Who said crop tops can’t be worn at fancy holiday parties? With Thanksgiving over and done with, Christmas is around the corner and it seems like everyone is having holiday potlucks, Christmas soirees and asking me what my plans are for New Years Eve. New Years is known for having a little sparkle, well what about gold foil paisley?
Getting glammed up has always been more of a burden than anything. So I always prefer to have semi-formal pieces available in my wardrobe that I can mix and match to create outfits that can go from casual day to festive nights.
Purple and gold crop top holiday look
The best part of this outfit is that the scalloped lace crop top matches so well with the Stella Louise for KB pencil skirt I got from a thrift store. Originally, the pencil skirt came as a set with a matching top, but who ever got to the store before snatched up the top and left the skirt. Luckily the deep purple hue, with gold foil paisley goes well almost any neutral top. I like to wear it to work with a cream button-up blouse.
