This week I bring to you one of my FAVORITE outfits. I’ve owned this top for a few weeks now, and I’ve worn it about three times. All I really do to change it up is put on some different pants and a different top under it. For example, I work this lace top to work (but being that it is see-through I can’t wear a crop tank under it) and paired it with a blank tank top under it and some slacks. For date night, I wore this same top and crop top combo, tucked into a pair of shorts and some heels. This look I am showcasing is probably a big more doable for the average day. You can easily swap the burgundy skinny pants, or dark jeans or even a pencil skirt.
Lace top and maroon jeans
Isn’t it weird that leopard can be considered a neutral? A pattern…considered neutral enough to go with anything. Well, this is a good example of how neutrals can come together to make a visually interesting combination. I have been really into rolling up the bottoms of my jeans lately. I feel like it really shows off my shoes. If you were to look at my older OOTDs I NEVER rolled my jeans. Isn’t it weird how style can change in a year? This is just one of my style hacks.
Also, when I bought this top, I didn’t realize that there was a ripped seam. My coworker actually pointed it out while I was wearing it. I was able to fix it right up with some tacky glue. Let’s hope it holds.
