Floral prints, striped skirt, and pink pumps; OOTD

I don’t wear black often, but when I do it’s mixed with floral prints, a pop of pink and is usually paired with something of the striped variety. I tend to avoid black because people think fat girls like to hide behind it. It’s referred to as “flattering” for curvy women because “it doesn’t draw attention” to your trouble areas. Which of course code for making us look fatter which is of course to be avoided at all costs (sarcasm).

This look had me feeling really girly. Which is totally out of my norm. Usually a skirt is as girl as I get, but you throw in a floral top and hot pink pumps and I could feel the glitter, kittens, bows and lipstick just oozing from every fiber of my being. I actually quite liked it though. There’s nothing quite like a flouncy skirt to make you feel flirty and fun.
