10 Print Maxi Dress Looks to try this Summer

It’s no secret, floral print maxi dresses are my obsession this summer. Last year was definitely the summer of rompers, but 2017 is the summer of the printed maxi dress. I don’t think I am alone either, plus size bloggers have been featuring maxi dresses since the last frost.

Maxi dresses are like the leggings of the hot months. They allow you to move around freely without a waistband. Maxis keep the swamp butt syndrome of summer to a minimal (who needs jeans anyway). A printed maxi dress can make you look festive for the season without needing to put in much effort. Have you ever worn a metal necklace on a hot day only to find yourself just seconds away from third dress burns on your clavicle?

Any outfit that allows you to eat, drink and move freely without jabbing into your belly or leaving marks on your calves is a good choice. Especially when it’s 85 degrees and humid outside. That is why I am putting together a round-up of my favorite printed maxi dresses.

  1. These are beautiful photos and dresses! Im always so nervous to try a Maxi dress because I’m so short! But I’ll have to try some of these looks!

    1. I am 5’4″ and I always have to pick it up when I walk. But it makes me feel dramatic and Cinderella-esque LOL so it’s not too bad.

  2. I love how each photo captures the models own personality! I really loved Lu’s dress, the bold print and colours complimented her and her diva personality from the photo. So many beautiful dresses, you can never really go wrong with a maxi dress.

  3. I like the look of maxi dresses but have never worn one since I’m 5’1 lol. But I do know how to sew, so maybe I can get a cute one and make it shorter!

  4. You’ve showcased a great collection of maxi dresses here. These dresses are my new-found love and I am always looking out for new styles and prints!
